To download Audacity, go to: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/ and select your operating system (Windows, Mac or Linux).

You will also need to download a file called "Lame Encoder" which allows you to export your audio as an MP3 file. To get the file, go here: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/help/faq?s=install&item=lame-mp3 and follow all instructions.

NOTE: Audacity cannot help you with the RSS feed for your podcast. The easiest thing to do is use a free podcast hosting service, such as gCast, podomatic, podbean or Odeo which will create the RSS feed for you automatically when you have uploaded your files. Or, use an online file hosting service, such as Box.net to store your media, then link to/embed your podcasts in a blog and use the free Feedburner service to generate your podcast feed. Place a link to your podcast feed in your blog sidebar so listeners can subscribe!
